Mandla district profile
Mandla is one of the districts covered by PACS in Madhya Pradesh. The district (area: 8,771sq. km) lies in the Mahakoshal region. There are nine blocks and four tehsils in the district. Much of the district is forested, and it is home to Kanha National Park, a Project Tiger sanctuary.
Around 57% of the total population belongs to scheduled tribes.
