Project proposal

On successful completion of the pre-funding appraisal, CSOs are invited to submit a detailed project proposal.

All project proposals received within the application deadline will be considered by the respective RPSC.

In their proposals, CSOs are expected to demonstrate the following:

  1. How the project contributes to the goal, purpose and outputs of the PACS programme.
  2. How the project promotes and strengthens community based organisations, especially those led by people from socially excluded groups.
  3. The proposed team profile and their mix of skills and competencies.
  4. An effective monitoring plan that involves the participation of the community.
  5. An advocacy plan to engage at influencing change at block, district or higher levels, as well as a plan to share your learning and experiences with others.

Workshops have been held to guide CSOs in drafting project proposals.

Approval from regional committee

Final project proposals submitted by CSOs are reviewed and approved/ not approved by the respective RPSCs.
