CSO partners in Uttar Pradesh

The Poorest Areas Civil Society Programme (PACS) works with 19 civil society organisation (CSO) partners in Uttar Pradesh.

The grant-roll out process has been initiated for 19 projects in 14 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Of the 19 projects, nine are individual projects and ten projects have network partners.

The focus of all CSO partners in this phase is on non-discriminatory access for socially excluded groups to:

  1. Livelihood rights, under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), Forest Rights Act (FRA), revenue land and skills development.

  2. Right to basic services under education, health and nutrition.
