The Pararth Samiti project aims to reduce the incidence of malnutrition, infant mortality and maternal mortality in the targeted marginalised communities through non-discriminatory access to services.
The project's purpose is to enable socially excluded communities access to better quality health care and nutrition services.
The Pararth Samiti project works in 150 villages in the Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh. PACS is supporting the project for four years.
Pararth Samiti aims

Promoting community based organisations (CBOs) from socially excluded communities to act as pressure groups to demand rights.

Building capacities of key stakeholders in socially excluded communities, on issues of health and nutrition.

Networking and building links with Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and service providers to make service delivery systems more responsive and non-discriminatory.

Advocacy initiatives with government officials on issues of social exclusion.
About Pararth Samiti
Pararth Samiti was founded to contribute towards rural development. The organisation started its work in the tribal dominated area of Chindwara. The vision of the organisation is to establish a society free of social and economic uncertainties, where everyone gets equal opportunities to excel.
Pararth Samiti endeavours to work as a facilitator in the overall process of development. Over the years the organisation has evolved and has broadened its activities to address issues related to rural poverty. The major initiatives of the organisation have been in the areas of livelihood, health, nutrition, microfinance and environment.
