Debagarh (area: 2,781.66 sq km) is one of the districts covered by PACS in Orissa. The district, also known as Deogarh district, is in Orissa’s Koshal region. It is located in the northern part of the state. Debagarh is the district headquarters.

The district was created on 1 January 1994, out of Sambalpur district.
